| Cincinnati
was founded in 1788 as Losantiville. After the opening of the Ohio
and Erie Canals (c.1832), the city developed as a shipper of farm
products and meat. The city is home to the Cincinnati Reds, the nation's
oldest pro baseball team.
Better known to the locals as Cincy, the 'Nati, or the Dirty. Home of Procter and Gamble, the Reds, and chili you eat with a fork. |
